Most of these tours take place in the Northern Cape Province in South Africa. Tour 59: 7 Day+ Kalahari Lion & Other Predators Tour
On this tour the emphasis is on finding the magnificent Kalahari Lions and other predators such as leopard, cheetah, (Kgalagadi is one of the better natural parks to see these two species), spotted and brown hyena, honey badger, African wild cat, the rare caracal and the ever popular meerkat (suricate). The camps used on this tour are not always the most equipped camps, but give one the opportunity to overnight where these magnificent beasts operate.
Patience, endurance and good luck is still needed sometimes to find the Kalahari lions. That makes the reward so much better. Early departures on game drives in the mornings and staying out as late as possible in the late afternoons increase the chances of spotting these impressive creatures. During the warmer to hot months from September to April, the changes increase to see these big cats, due to the fact that they visit waterholes more often, which are all close to game drive routes, Malaria free area.

Tour 60: 4 Day+ Kalahari Raptor Tour
One of the best places to see raptors in Southern Africa is in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and the best period is in summer from Sep - April when the migratory species are there too. Martial-, Tawny- & Black-chested Snake Eagles, Bateleur, Pale Chanting Goshawks, Greater Kestrels and Pygmy falcons are some of the common resident species. Tour 61: 4 Day & 10 Day Kalahari Meerkat (Suricate)Tour
On these tours the emphasis is on finding meerkat (suricate) in their natural habitat in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the Kalahari. In areas near Twee Rivieren the meerkat are more used to vehicles and one can get at times very close to them. In other areas, especially on the pans in the wilderness areas in Botswana, the meerkat are a bit more skittish, but due to the open pans one gets a good view of them.
The 04 Day Tour offers clients the opportunity to stay in the Twee Rivieren area and it also offers good chalet accommodation for clients who prefer good comfortable accommodation. The 10-Day Tour offers clients the opportunity to see meerkat in wilderness areas in Botswana and in the Twee Rivieren area. The Botswana side has only basic camping facilities. Malaria free area.

Riemvasmaak and Skroef-se-bad near the Orange River in South Africa and Warmbad and Ai-Ais in South Namibia are hot springs varying from very basic baths to modern indoor baths. Other options are modern facilities in the Western Cape near Montagu, Goudini and near Citrusdal in the Cederberg Mountains. Tailor-made Tour 70: 3 Day Astronomy & Night Skies Tour
18 Km outside the town Sutherland is the South African Astronomical Observatory. It houses 10 telescopes of which one being ‘SALT’ (Southern African Largest Telescope), with a hexagonal mirror of 11m. A day tour of SALT can be done and on the night tours visitors can view the sky through a 16’ Meade and a 14” Celestron telescope. A radio telescope site is in the development stage near Carnavon 250 km from Sutherland and will contribute to an even greater experience in the future. Malaria free area
