Scheduled Departures Tours
The Scheduled Departure Tours depart on fixed dates. The Scheduled Departure Tours are either Standard Tours or tailor-made itineraries where seats are available in the guide vehicle or where more vehicles can join in a 4x4 Convoy Tour. All rates are on the attached itineraries.

Tour 01 is a Standard Tour with fixed itineraries and we are holding accommodation reservations for these tours until one month prior to departure date. If no clients have booked on any of these tours one month prior to the departure date, the accommodation reservations will lapse. Malaria free area.

After good winter rains this succulent desert comes alive in spring and the Namaqualand is transformed into a colourful carpet of millions of wild flowers. Sandy Trail. This Kalahari 4x4 Tour runs on various 4x4 Trails through the land of the Khomani San and the Mier area to Cammspannen Private Reserve in the Kalahari Desert in the Northern Cape Province in South Africa. The Kalahari 4x4 trails go through scenic red dune landscapes, good wildlife areas and cross challenging dunes in Cammspannen Nature Reserve. Beautiful view points and sunset spots await the visitors to this part of the endless Kalahari Desert. Malaria free area.

This tour runs during the December school holidays from the Orange River Mouth at Alexander Bay down the West Coast to the Diamond Coast and the Coastal Section of the Namaqua National Park. The emphasis on this tour is on recreation. Clients have the opportunity to experience freshwater fishing and surf angling, crayfish diving, driving on scenic and challenging 4x4 trails, good birding opportunities and relaxed walks on the barren West Coast. This tour starts in Johannesburg and can be done as a whole or clients can join or leave the tour on certain days. (see details on itinerary) The emphasis is on wildlife and the tour covers a wide variety of habitat and landscapes. Marakele and Mapangubwe Mapangubwe National Parks in South Africa is followed by Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Makgadigadi & Nxai Pan National Parks, Nata Bird Sanctuary, Chobe National Park and Khwai and Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. The last leg is to the remote Kaa Kalahari Concession and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This is the perfect opportunity to experience most of the wildlife Southern Africa has to offer. This tour was compiled on request and starts in Upington and goes through some of the more remote areas and Parks of Botswana and Namibia including Khutse Game Reserve, Gcwihaba (Drotsky’s) Caves and Kaudum Game Reserve. The last section of the tour runs via Popa Falls, Mahango Game Reserve, Caprivi, Chobe National Park, Vic Falls and Nata Bird sanctuary. Remote areas, good wildlife and landscapes make this tour an interesting option. Accommodation options are chalets & camping or just camping. Malaria area.
